I have been living at Madison apartments since Feb 2007.I earlier had a 2 bedroom apt and then later on shifted to a 1 bedroom apt.Both were top floor apts and luckily we had very quiet neighbours....so sound coming through the paper thin walls wasn't an issue at all...I really liked the floor plan of the 1 bed apts...the open kitchen and the breakfast bar are hard to find....I agree that the appliances weren't in pristine condition and the shades were almost turning yellow...when I moved in... but i think the apartment was being maintained well.The ceilings and walls had been painted...there wasn't a scratch on any of the doors...I also have to say that the management was really nice...I remember I was moving from one apartment to another in Madison itself...and the rate was much higher for the top floor as compared to the first floor..but they were kind enough to give it to me at the lower rate...I have never had to call them up twice for any maintenance work..I've had trouble with the dishwasher and the toilet flush..but these were attended to right away..I know every time I have called maintenence I have received a call back in max 30 minutes...and the job has been done the same day if not the next.they provide free carpet shampooing service after 1 year of the lease...and they did a good job too...I have never used the swimming pool so i can't really comment..I have used the tennis courts to play tennis....not the best...recently I remember seeing one of the nets fallen to the floor...but that again I believe is caused by people in the community who couldn't care less...Well I guess one could debate that the apartment complex management should fix it...but then again what's stopping anyone in the community from ruining it again..
All in all I would say that I haven't had any bad experiences with the management or the maintenance guys...I know it is value for my money..I have lived at other real good apt complexes with excellent amenities in order...and guess what it comes with a high price to pay... k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S
