Easy and inexpensive to move in, rates increased a lot after the first year. Many dogs that bark at all hours and unsupervised children, don't let your kids play outside alone, they will get pushed around by other tenants kids. The lawn is nice and green around the club house but brown all summer everywhere else. Pool and exercise room are nice. utilities are very reasonable. If you want a few months after your first year, rather than another year, the rates are stounding. No recycling program.

Maybe things have changed, I moved in a little over a year ago (2008). I have not experienced any of the negatives mentioned above, with the exception of my rent being increased after the first year, but only by about $10 a month, which seemed reasonable. If I was willing to sign a longer lease (2-3 years), the price would have stayed about the same. I only signed a one year lease, as my job may require my relocation. And yes, if you choose to go month to month after your lease expires, your rates will significantly increase, but that is par in the rental business.
Actually, I am impressed with how well the grass and area are maintained. I have not seen any brown grass during the spring or summer. Maintenance people are quick to respond and friendly (24/7/365). I just love this place and expect to stay here for many years to come, if my job allows.
