Boy were we decieved when we moved in. The first couple of months were great. We had a bit of a problem with the college students above us at first, but then they moved out to be replaced by worse....still, not the Maplebrook's problem really. We seen the maintence men, but did we see them working'' Nope, and especially never in our apt. We lived there for around 18 months when we had to leave due to their lack of maintence and for the safty of ours and our daughters health. Our children's room had a bad leak (from the outside air contidioning unit) and mold growing under the carpet, in the walls, the closet, and maintence and the office staff were given several calls from us. Lousy maintence, and OK office staff. The maintence is extremly underqualified and anytime we seen them after the leak, they would hurry away from us, or say they would come by the next day, well, the next day never came. The cops were ALWAYS there, always. There were a few times that we would walk out of our apt with cops surrounding the apt across ours, one time with their guns drawn. We had the cops in our building at least once a week. Too much noise, too much partying, too many cops, too many problems, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!! I don't know why this place is considered cheap either, there is much better in the area for much cheaper and much larger. Too bad they don't take care of the actual apartments as well as they take care of the outside, then they might have something. Very decieving, I would highly recommend finding another apartment in the area, there are plenty.
