Only has one thing going for it: location.

I have had so much stuff break in my apartment I can't list it all. It is an older joint so stuff will break eventually. Be aware of that. Maintenance men enter all the time, no phone call or warning, sometimes they don't even leave a note to let me know they were there. Not sure how to feel about that. At least a phone call would be nice. Repairs usually take three rounds to get resolved along with phone call reminders. There is never any parking near my area. There are a lot of people that sit around and idle in their cars and frequently block me in. I'd suspect they are all waiting to pick up people that do not have cars that work. I live on the bottom floor. I can hear the person upstairs talking, walking (floors creak BAD), and flushing the toilet. My bedroom is right by the door buzzer so when people ring it, the door buzzer vibrates my entire wall and wakes me up. Rent went up $50 after the first year. I don't have pets, but my carpet smells like cat urine. The manager can get very cranky when reporting problems. She even hung up on me once. The basement is nice to have for storage and washer/dryer, but it floods regularly and there is nothing that can be done about it. Don't keep anything of value there. Insurance doesn't cover flood/water damage. Overall, I would not recommend living here. These apartments saw their glory days from the 60s to 70s long ago. The only thing that keeps me from moving is the hassle of moving and I really like the location since it is close to everything good that Flint has to offer. The rent price is pretty much a rip off.
