When I was looking for an apartment to live Cedar Bend Apartments caught my eye. The outside very well kept. And being from the area I knew the complex wasn't very old .I met with the office staff and they were very kind and helpful. There was a pool that was very clean and nice. I liked the videos that you could check out from the office and the fittness room they had there. I also liked that it was in the Grand Blanc School district . Soon after moving there I realized it was a mistake... the second day I was there I was notified by the office staff that my nieghbor had made a complaint that I was to noisey while moving in. I explained to the office staff that I was moving in and the apartment was basically empty and made lots of noise from things echoing, but things would be better since the apartment was getting fuller. If that wasn't bad enough I got the police called on me for doing nothing but coming home at 2 am. This was a false police report and the police officers that came out even told me so. Things got much worse I was accused of not supervising my 17 year old . Which was total nonsence ...how many 17 year olds do you know that care to have their parents with them all day and all night. This too was a false report because I knew where my 17 year old was when (he or she )was gone. More and more false report made against me ... My upstairs nieghbors would stay up all night making lots of noise running, yelling, and bouncing things on the floor. When I made a report to the office staff I was basically told (to be good and stop fighting). The walls in the apartments are not very sound proof and I could often hear the guy upstairs scream at his children. The parking was nuts there I was told one parking space to each apartment in the front row of the buildings and that you had to have a parking sticker on your car to do so. There was 12 apartments in the building and only 6 parking spaces 8 if you count the handicap spaces . How do you fit 12 cars into 6 spaces' This rule was a total joke since some of the tenants seemed to think they were better than others and they could have 2-3 parking spaces. The complex has a trash compactor which was in the front and was often full and trash would set in front of it. After 6 months I was glad to move I would like to say thank you to the ones who made my decision to move easier for me (they know who they are)

I agree with you as well about the trash dumpster filling up at the front of the community. It still happens weekly here and it is so bad when it happens. At the very front when anyone drives by or pulls in, they will see (and often smell) the trash bags piled up because there is only one compacting dumpster. When the trash does pile up, there are sometimes 10-20 bags of trash stacked all around the dumpster! Then all you can do is add to the pile since there is no other place for trash.
