My husband and I currently live in KY, but when my husband deploys to Iraq this summer, I would like to come home and be with my family. So I looked online and found cedar bend. I was in town for a weekend and I made an appointment to see the apartments. I arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment, and there was a "closed" sign on the door. So I waited, and waited and waited. I saw people standing out the back door smoking, so finally 20 minutes after my appointment, I called and some one unlocked the door. Then I start telling the lady about it and she very rudely told me that when my husband is getting extra money for being shot at, that they will count all that as income, all of his "NON TAXABLE INCOME" and it added up to about $700 too much. So I called her district manager because she was not explaining to me very well how such an expensive apartment is for "moderate income families". All she said was that a 3 bedroom was for 6 people or some other crap. The DM was very nice, and told me some of what he recieved for being in Iraq would not be counted as income. So when I called "Chanda" back, she was a total B*&^% and told me that 30 days after I moved in she would need a current pay stub to make sure i was not "overqualified" and if I was I owuld have to move out.

Chanda, Chandra, Shanda... whatever her name is, is a completely rude office staff member who does not even provide any kindness or respect in return, even if you provide her with respect and kindness to begin with! You don't have to be so pissed off at the world!
