My family has been here for two years, and been so unhappy ever since. We are in the process of relocating ASAP. I have searched for the offices that own Country House Apartments, and have found these numbers and names: Michelle Anderson, and Gary Johnstone with CMS at 630-232-2020. They aren't in Michigan, nor have they EVER even been to this property. I was here last summer, and I know what the others are speaking of regarding the pool, air, and overall appearance of the property. My family has never been invited over due to the look and quality of the outside. We have had homeless sleeping in our unlocked basement that my husband ran off, (2x's), there has been a "questionable" tenant in our building who was removed due to "afterhour-sales", and when my husband and I had a miscarriage, and was asked if there was any work being done as far as remodeling or any lead paint in the building, no one would answer me. We found out we were in fact pregnant again, and my doctor made it very clear that I was not to be around any leadpaint. That afternoon, I was informed that workers needed to come in and cut a manhole to create an access pannel, I informed them that I could not be around lead paint dust at all, and that my doctor thought that could have been the cause of the first miscarriage, Country House basically told me tough. It just so happened that they in fact did not need to create such a pannel. I do not blame the office manager here at the complex. Teressa has honestly tried, I really believe that it is the home office. As far as the office help goes, I think they tell the tenants what they want to hear, even if it's a lie. I have already asked about the pool for this summer, and again, I think I was lied to. We'll see. I have thought about starting a boycott on rent, and asking all the tenants to not pay, until some demands are met, I wonder if they could evict everyone of us at once. It may be hard. The pipes here need replaced, the buildings are sinking, the electrical is shot, it is unsafe, and someone needs to do something. Please, if you're a part of our community, call the number above, and see what they tell you about our problems, lets keep calling until they've visited and can see the problems we face.
