After 2 years of being lied to by the management staff, promises not being kept and having 8 diffent leaks in my townhome I got fed up with it. I got the nerve to put my rent money into a seperate savings account since I was told I could not put it into an escrow account until I was being evicted.I wrote Theresa a letter informing her of the maintenance issues. Then I gave her 30 days to fix it ( a reasonable amount of time) I did not pay my rent. Then I called Consumers Protection down at the sherriff's office and filed a complaint against country house . when nothing was done at the end of my 30 days notice .I wrote her again informing her I intended to move. At the end of 2 months I left taking my 2 months rent with me. I was scared I was taking a chance of being sued for the rent . Well Yes Country House did take me to court and TRIED to sue me for the rent. The Judge saw my pictures and heard my case and ruled in my favor. Although he did make a statement that I think would be very helpful to all of those who are having simular problems and would like to get out of this slum . He said something like this I am getting tired of tenents complaining about there living conditions but they continue to pay the rent . He also stated that we can put our money into an escrow account with the court we do not have to wait until we are being evicted. SO COME ON TENANTS OF COUNTRY HOUSE APARTMENTS STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS DEMAND THINGS TO BE DON'T BE AFRAID TO MOVE OUT AND SHUT THIS SLUM DOWN. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
