Visited a friend and I don't recommend it.

If your in desperate need for a place to stay that is in an excellent school district, then go for it. However, I wouldn't recommend this place for any length of time. My friend's building hallway had a bad odor, which made it uninviting. The carpets are soiled bad. The paint on the front door to the building has peeling paint. The exterior condition of the building requires attention badly. The apartment doors are thin and you can hear conversations very well without trying. The floors are old and squeak so you can hear everytime someone walks around in the apartment above. Both bathrooms require painting, which wasn't done when my friend moved in. Although I don't know the exact price my friend pays each month, it seems comparable to the other apartments in the area. These are observations made by someone that doesn't even live there. I can't imagine what else would be listed here if I did live there.
