I have lived here for a couple of years and if it were not for the fact that I was in the end town house unit witha vacant unit next to me I would have been gone a long time ago. While the units are spacious, you pay dearly for the room. I went 9 months with no A/C until I was 7 months into a high risk pregnancy, I went 5 days with no running water when I had a 1 month old infant, and I have been with out water several other times due to the aging underground plumbing, the complexs regularly fails to pay the trash pickup service and trash will pile up for weeks-which makes for lovely summer nights chasing the racoons away as you try to mak e it from the car to your door, I have had to replace faucets myself because they never came in to do it. I had broken windows with no screens for 11 months before the repair was made, the carports are falling apart and broke my new car windshield, my basement floods at the sheer thought of rain, my toilets run all day and all night-good luck to ever get someone out.
Why do I stay-because I am being transfered out of state by my employer and with now 2 children under 2, it would be far too traumatic to them to move twice in a short period of time. They know that they have me over a barrel on this point and it seems as if Theresa thrives on making others miserable. Her answer for everything is "if you do not like it, move out"
I firmly agree that these buildings need to be comdemned. Don't think they are well maintained, look around the complex well!!! The back units and carports are falling apart, and Country House refuses to repair what you cannot see from the road.
