Mgt not so bad -Good for young couples

I've lived here 19 months. If you can afford better, get better. Otherwise a good deal. Rent has actually went down since I moved in for new tenants.
But, the place is in serious need of repair. Plumbing is shot by major Grand Blanc calcium problems. Buildings are aging and creaky. Wiring is old so sometimes hall lights and carports lights are out. Carports and patio fences are falling apart.
Theresa & other management has been great.
Repairs made right away. I've seen new maint manager policing ground with his employees. They are reasonable.
Most tenants I see posting here wouldn't be happy unless they were living for free. Two were from my building.
Sometimes you have to push mgt to get high-$ items fixed, like AC & major repairs. Save your maintenance reciepts or get a maint agreement to before moving in. If it gets too bad. Walk away and let them take you to court. You would win.
Not recommended for kids. Neighbor kids are questionable and unsupervised.
Cheap & livable for young couples needing a place to stay that provides a lot of space, W/Ds, and convenient location.
Good luck!
