My fiancee and I looked at Gateway of Grand Blanc and the Fairways at Woodfield before we discovered Heatherwood. Gateway and Fairways both started out at around $700, and both had high pro-rates for 6 month leases. Heatherwood's least expensive apartment, however, was only in the mid $500 range. What's more, their 6 month pro-rate was only an additional $30.

We chose a one bedroom end unit (end apartments are a little larger) on the third floor. There is plenty of space, the apartment looks nearly new (the oldest apartments in the complex are about 4 years old), and the office and maintenance staff are wonderful.
