i've lived at Knollwood for a couple of years. I have not had any of the experiences these people are talking about. It sounds like mostly disgruntled people who don't or won't follow the rules, like payint your rent on time. I received a special price when I moved in and was told up front and signed an agreement what how I could lose the special. If you lost it, it was your own fault! My apartment was really clean when i moved in and i have had no problems in getting things fixed. I like it here.

Well, I have never been late on my rent, don't have pets, Follow all the rules, moved from Troy after a Divorce, looked at Rent.com and thought it was going to be heaven. Saw a townhouse, Penny showed me loved it. Got the lease to find out it was a different townhouse. Kitchen falling apart, went to management, wrote a letter, she told me she don't care she will not fix the things wrong nor will she move me. This all happened the first 2 days I was there. Since then, Light fixturs fell off walls, screen fell out door, cabinets in the kitchen falling apart. No covers for the fire detectors, wholes in the panels in the finished basement. All the ceiling a warped and was since I moved in. I will not renew my lease and will never live in this area ever again.

Why would you sign a lease without first seeing the actual apartment you were renting? SHAME ON YOU. I sincerely doubt that any manager would say "she don't care she will not fix the things wrong nor will she move me". She wouldn't have a job very long.
