Here's the golden rule of buying anything. You get what you pay for. I feel that 585 is a good deal for what I get here. if I wanted to pay top dollar for a luxury apartment I would have moved to Heatherwood or that new Country Club thing thats going up on Irish Rd in Davison. But I wanted a decent apartment, in a nice little town, near I475 and thats exactly what i got. And I can back the Knollwood staff on taking care of noise complaints. i have a young couple that moved in to my building who were loud as hell for the first few weeks (music shouting etc.) and the staff apparantly put the fear of god into them because they have since apologized to all in the building and quieted right down. To me the staff are very friendly. I had to call this morning and tell them I will have to pay my rent late (I had to help my little sister fix her car so she wouldnt loose her job) and the lady didnt make me feel ashamed at all. She gave me a grace period and actually put a smile on my face. So thats what inspired me to write a review and suggest that the bad reviews are probobly from foolish people who have unrealistic expectations. This is a nice place to rent.
