Perry Place is a decent short-term place to live if you're on a budget. Otherwise, the management is horrible. They don't do anything about tenants' complaints. It's takes FOREVER to get things fixed, even if it's an emergency. While here, I've had my apartment become flooded due to a crack in the foundation and my brand new car was baldy vandalized causing $3000 worth of damage. The people who live here are mostly low-income low-life gangsters. Neighbors have stolen newspapers, are noisy, smoke in the hallways, have all-night wild parties (even during the week) and many other things. I don't recommend moving here unless you can't find anything else or it's just temporary.
