FYI - according to the Michigan Public Sexual Offender Registry (http://www.mipsor.state.mi.us/), there are 5 registered sex offenders in this apartment complex. Do a search for the zip code 48439. There are 5 on Juniper Way.

As of 2005 this community does criminal checks on all new applicants. Although the registry is a great tool it is not always acurate. The offenders only have to provide an address and not proof of the lease. It's an unfortunate loop hole that properties deal with. The offenders currently on the list do not live here and have been reported to the registry for correction.

This may be true, but there are a lot of drug problems in the community. My neighbors smoked pot all of the time, they told me and I could smell it. Please don't tell me that it is perfectly legal for this activity. I have reported the drug problem many times, as well as other extremely nasty odors emitting from other people's apartments.
