I moved into Perry Place in January of 2007. Cool, it was big, I was super excited. And I could have my pup. They got me in on short notice, which I was super happy about. I was notified that there was a two inch gap in the bedroom, and that they would be there pronto to fix it. I asked the apartment to please not allow the maintenence men in without someone being home. Well, it took a month, and not only did it take a month and five phone calls, but my girlfriend and I came home to a guy in our room. My girlfriend and I were very upset. However I was excited that I would finally lose my cold due to the huge draft of cold air. I wasn't excited about all the wood chips left through out the room. My refridgerator broke twice. The fan in the bathroom broke. The medicine cabinet door in the bathroom fell right off the wall and almost broke my girlfriends foot. In the winter, I had a huge pile of snow in my belcony door on the carpet, and one on the windowceal in the bedroom. But here is the kicker! They send out lease renewals three months before your lease is up. In November I signed a lease renewal. A week later I asked to withdrawl. They told me no, and that I would have to stay. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND PEOPLE, YOU HAVE 30 DAYS TO WITHDRAWL ANYTHING YOU SIGN! Stupid me, I went with it. I then put in for an apartment move, to a floor apartment, and not facing the hospice my apartment faced which was the most DEPRESSING thing ever. Well, I got screwed out of that. They didnt transfer me, they actually leased it out. Also, the parking lot is horrible. There are no designated lines to park in, so people double park or park weird and there were several occasions when I came home from work to find all the parking spaces were taken. AND THEY TURN OFF THE WATER A LOT TO THE WHOLE BUILDING. My experience was horrible. I had to break my apartment lease. Needless to say, my credit is shot because they lied to me, and I did not have a good experience. So MAKE A GOOD CHOICE!
