Years at this apartment: 1995 - 1996
I lived there more than a decade ago for over a year. Then I had to relocate to east coast for job. I gave 30 days notice and they found a tenant to move in so the apartment was vacant for 1/2 month only.
The mangement asked me to pay the full rent until the lease is up. I left a month security deposit. The management sued me at small claims court and I went back. They could only charge me for half month rent for the time the unit was vacant and I was supposed to get half month security deposit back.
They the management added a record to my credit report. But they never respond to collection agency for proof. The credit bureau delected that record.
