In regards to a recent posting I want everyone to realize that only one person feels that Pinehurst is a GHETTO she made the mistake of saying that word the first week she lived here which is why I feel that I know who sent in the bad review, if I'm wrong about who sent in the review so sorry- but when somethng is done anonymously chances are taken. She has not a clue what the Pinehurst community is all about. We are not a GHETTO.In her recent posting she complains that the kids are running wild, just to set the record straight one of the wild unsupervised children is hers. The fact that we have a problem with some parents missing the common sense they were born with,these parents do not understand that children 8 years old and under need adult parental supervision and guidance not a push out the door and that this is not a management problem it is a parenting skill that is missing in a few that happen to live here. When someone sends in a review anonymously that should be a first indication of a problem, if this resident is having problems paying Consumers maybe she needs to discuss this with Consumers or at the least turn off a not needed light or dress for the cold weather, we only have 2 windows and 2 doors in our units so try blocking some of the cold, hanging a heavy curtain at your basement window also will help or is too much to expect someone to use their head and think. I'm trying to be courteous towards someone who described Grand Ledge as a GHETTO, I have lived in the Pinehurst Community for 2 years and I have lived in Grand Ledge for over 40 years I was offended that anyone could use that derogatory term about my hometown. Pinehurst is a great place to put down some roots and enjoy the small town living we all crave.
