I lived at Sandstone for 8 years and while DTN was managing there were no problems. Then Madison came in and things got worse day by day. The one main manager was nothing but a huge liar. His name is ----------. He does not care about his employees as well as any residents, He does not want to here a single thing from anyone. I heard just recently a herion needle was found in one of the parking lots. Lots of young kids living there who deal and do drugs. The place is a mess. I can't beleive the owner Mr. --------- would allow such a terrible company to manage his property, Hopefully he will see how bad the place has gotten and get a new company that is respectable in there and save the place as it has become drug alley. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. What a shame because it used to be a great place. oh and the office is never open...how are they even renting apartments. It says on there machine they are open from 9 to 6. BS the manager leaves sometimes before 5. Guess Mr. ----- does not care. Wonder how things get done.

I live in the same building as the author of this post. Most of my neighbors were GLAD when she moved away from the property, although her teenage sons still come to the property!
This woman was admittedly on medication for depression and openly discussed being fired by the new management company to me and other tenants in the building. She's obviously disgruntled.
Her post has no validity whatsoever.
My experience with the new management company has been great. The maintenance staff and the office staff are very professional and courteous.

Wow All of a sudden everyone posts comments. Now that Everyone has pin pointed the problem, lets give Sandstone a try. The problem seems to have "Moved On". In all seriousness, The managment here is Great. All of the ------------------------------------------------------------- All work well together to get things done and make sure your living expierence is a good one. Maintenence go out of there way to help clear snow from your car, they come to fix things in an emergency 24/7. ------ and ------- Work above and beyond to gain trust from there tenants and trust me there is not anything they wouldnt do to help out a tenant. I cant say enough good things about Sandstone, I have been here a year and plan to be here for years to come. Check them out.

No kidding I lived in 106 building but have been too 105 msny times to see my friends. This has to be the woman who always sat on the porch with the maintence guy? She was always talking about how she got fired and how bad Sandstone was. Whats this about a herion needle being found? if she found it it was probably hers or her kids, never seen one here before her and I have been here a few years now. The staff is great. The manager ------ and the new Girl up there know how to get things done! Great job!

I just resigned my lease, I have a 4 and 6 year old. Never have I had trouble, like what this lady is describing. The office has always made arrangement to accomidate me if they were not open. I had hot water heater trouble on a weekend called late (10-11pm) on a weekend maintenence fixed it that night. I offered for them to wait until the next day and they said they were glad to do it now so I would have a hot shower ing the morning. This anonymous person is full of ..... and knows it or they would have posted some for of name.

You comment that DTN was managing and there were no problems is obviouly a sign of being disgruntled. Even with the best managment company, there will be problems. I worked for DTN for a number of years and they had many issues concerning politics. They also had a habit of putting people in management that photgraphed well that had limited management skills. I've seen the results of DTN's issues with this place, and prefer Madison considering what they've been doing to get this place fixed up. Really, I've lived on DTN properties for four years and it took weeks to get the simplest of things fixed. If they were to even manage this place again, I would move.
