I guess you get what you pay for. HORRIBLE noise problem from the neighbors that maintenance refuses to take care of. They blast music every single night and I have to call 2-3 times to get someone to come over. People fighting in the hallway..screaming outside my door at 4am..I hear mice in the walls and ceilings. Parking is ridiculous, can never find a spot even in front of my OWN BUILDING. Hallways are FILTHY and very run down. Absolutely no security, the only thing keeping people from just waltzing into my apartment is the one lock on my door, there's no locks on the building, no intercom system, no chain locks, nothing. I paid my rent on time and they lost my check then sent me an eviction notice a few weeks later..finally got them to admit to losing my check and then they STILL tried to charge me a late fee. Management is ridiculous. Water damage in bathroom, ant problem from cracks in the kitchen floor, disgusting kitchen cabinets...as you can tell, I really regret moving here and am moving out the second my lease is up.

You can have maintenance put a chain lock on your door. I did that when I lived there 2 years ago. The only thing is that you have to leave it there when you move out, but for about $6 or so, it was worth it. Sorry you are having a bad experience, though.
