When I first moved in I was greeted by the apple ridge -----. I currently at the time did not have curtains and once late at night when she was walking up to her place she screamed "turn off you lights, nobody wants to see you". Around the time she moved away, more douche bags and hard core ------- moved in and pretty much started messing with me for no apparent reason. They would kick or scratch my door when they walked by and would say nasty things about me. At this point I had enough and pretty much went ape ---- on all of these college rejects. In the process of doing so, these people rounded up all of there friends and pretty much wanted to fight me. Not going to go into graphic detail as to what happened after that, but ---- got crazy. Also, these people that live here love to party. I remember this one chick who lived below me that would have sex orgies every weekend at her apartment. I fell asleep to the sounds of people screwing each other... hard to sleep when that ---- is going on. The people across from me would party loud and hard until like 4 a.m. Then there were some people who I swear to god were high on drugs because they acted like they were messed up on a ton of amphetamines. They would do things that normal people usually do not do. The list goes on and on. The only thing that I would consider a plus about this place is that there are ALOT of horny women living here. I mean... ALOT of horny women. I can't count how many times a college girl would invite me over to her place to, uhhh, well, you know. So yeah, this place is just one big ---- fest filled with crazy college kids. I was 21 when I was living there (23 now) so I was living with people my own age pretty much. I would say the average age range is 20-28. So basically, if you love to party and are wild and crazy then I would say apple ridge is just the place for you. If you are a sane person who wants peace of mind so you can focus on your studies, or if you just want to live in peace, then I suggest you avoid this place at all cost. I would, overall, not recommend this place for anyone but a college student or someone who wants to party. I suggest it for college kids because the GVSU bus line is pretty much right there, and the rent is dirt cheap. I suggest it for partying because, well, I don't need to explain that. To be honest, I will be going back to apple ridge very soon. Getting sick of the place I am living at now, really boring.
