Arrowhead Apartments

Horrendous!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/3/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   After reading all of the comments written it is obvious that the Arrowhead staff has been quite busy trying to deceive renters into moving into this complex. That is dishonest and they should be ashamed of themselves. They should really use all this spare time they have and work on improving the apartment community. Hey, there's a concept. I lived at Arrowhead for a year (2005-2006) and it was without a doubt the worst year of my life. As a single women, I would NEVER recommend this dump to anyone! It is so completely unsafe! There was always crime at Arrowhead. Cars got broken into, property was damaged and domestic disputes/violence occurred almost weekly. And if you donât believe me check with the Grand Rapids Police Department and they can give you a printout of all the crime that has taken place at this complex. As far as the maintenance (or lack of) they are a complete JOKE. Better learn how to fix things yourselves because when they do finally show up they donât fix anything. I had a mold problem and their solution to âget rid of itâ was to wallpaper over the mold! Idiots! And come winter time, have fun being snowed into the complex. Snow removal there is nonexistent. I have 4 wheel drive and I would constantly get stuck in the parking lot because the plow wouldnât come along until late afternoon and there would be a sheet of ice underneath the snow. What good is that when I have to be at work at 9:00am! Better invest in a shovel and some salt because the sidewalks do not get done. The electric heat is useless. My apartment was freezing in the winter and scorching hot in the summer. Unless you plan on sleeping right next to the heat register you are going to have some long sleepless nights. Yeah the rent is cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. The neighbors are rude and do not clean up after their dogs. Dogs bark at all hours of the night, neighbors fight, children run up and down the halls with no supervision. Trust me and stay away from this hole.
