I moved into a one bedroom apt and then switched to a two-bedroom three months later when a friend from college moved in with me. The security deposit was supposed to go from apt 1 to apt 2, but the office "mailed" it back to me. However, I didn't receive it in the mail, they cancelled the check b/c it wasn't cashed within six months, then tried to charge me a $100 fee for cleaning cat urine off the carpet after we moved out of apt 2 a year later. They even hired a collection company to come after me while I was in medical school, which screwed up my credit rating and thus prolong the disbursment of my loans for school. The "funny" part is...WE DIDN'T HAVE A CAT (or dog).
Then we got yelled at b/c we never told the apt. complex about our "cat"
And, b/c of the cute ponds, there is goose feces all over-DO NOT take a walk around the ponds barefoot...We also had notices of cars being broken into a few times, the fire alarm in my building was set off by the "cute kids" in the building twice and the fire department came while we were sitting outside at three am.

My fiance and I were woken up several times by the fire alarms but they were always because of the dryer malfunctioning and starting on fire. The shared laundry was not an ideal situation. My neighbor saw a naked man in the laundry room one morning and I had a strange man standing in the hall directly outside my apartment door when I went to take my puppy outside early in the morning. It is very hard for me to believe that this place has a 57% recommendation.
