I have lived here for over a year as a renter, rent is high but it was fun... until they went condo. I get woken up every morning for the past 3 months at between 7 and 9 am to construction. They built balconies on apartments while we are living here, and the "condo" above and next to us is being remodeled, meaning new floors, appliances, walls, etc. It sounds like they are tearing the building down and our apartment shakes all day. I work second shift and take classes in the afternoon, but they still insist on coming into MY apartment to access pipes in my crawlspace at 9 am. Drills, sanders, hammering, and the walls are so thin you can hear conversation in the next apartment. And the "pool" they are building is going to be tiny... Oh, and a deposit will not lock in your price until you buy. We were offered to buy our apartment for about $120,000, it is now over @200,000. For about 900 square feet with 4 windows and no washer/dryer. You know what kind of house you can get for that''' And the majority of the prospective buyers seem to be old people...there goes the fun!
