I lived there for 2 years, and definitely will not recomend it to anyone. During that period, one guy was mysteriously missing from the parking lot, sidedoors(exit only) always left open, annoying fire alarm woke me up at least five times during the night(sure, nothing happened, it could be a test-alarm, shouldn't it be once a year'!), police cars stop in front of the building constantly, three car accidents happened in front of my window(I lived on the 1st floor, facing the College Ave), 3 parties a week among my neighbourhood(I wrote a complain letter to the mannager, but never been improved), the build is always filled with overnight pizza smell, people constantly knocked on my window to ask me to open the sidedoor for them in the middle night. The worst thing is after I moved out, I received a $966 bill for "complete paint and prime, countertop replacement, kitchen vinal, holes on the wall......" Nothing was new when we moved in, countertop had burnt marks and the holes were already on the wall when we moved in, which I have noted on the move-in checklist. Manager explained to me later that the condition when we moved in is "LIVABLE", and after we moved out it's not, so they have to put all the charges on my bill. It's ridiculous. I tried to contact them 3 times to discuss the bill, the assistant said the manager was sick in the hospital, and promised me she would call me back later. But she never called back. And couple weeks later, I got a bill from debt collection company. I called again, she told me she was too busy and had no time to call me about the deposit thing. What a good excuse!!! Anyway, I am still dealing with them about the bill currently, for sure, I am not going to pay that unreasonable bill. But for anyone reads this, I guess you will know what you need to do.
