I lived here for about a year with my roommate on the first floor. It definitely had its ups and downs.

Pros:
-Free hi-speed internet. I see the others had problems with it, but I never did.
-Maintenance is VERY polite. Very nice guy.
-Rent is reasonable.
-Good location near downtown and I-196.
-Free Cable! (Good cable, too.)
-Enclosed parking.
-Near a park.


Cons:
-RIVER SPIDERS. It's near the Grand River, so all the HUGE creepy spiders are hanging about all over the outside doors. We never had much of a problem with them inside, but I was afraid of the canopy out front.
-That guy who disappeared. I think his name was Guilliermo or something.
-The LandLady NEVER gets back with you about everything. They're never in the office during office hours, EVER.
-Maintenance requests take forever to process (even if the man is nice).
-The walls are THIN. We had a guy living next to us who would just...watch porn and have loud intercourse ALL NIGHT. My roommate never got any sleep. Additionally, you can hear the people living above you with perfect clarity between the stomps.
-They don't plow the parking lot very well. For the size of the lot, you wouldn't expect to get stuck in two feet of snow.
-Doors are always propped, even though the penalty for doing so is eviction. Way to enforce the rules.

Also, I forgot to mention - I moved out in July and still haven't received my deposit back.
