Extremely Pleased!

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
Though I've only lived here for a year, I can definitely say that I've had a better experience with College Hill than my previous apartment. Parking is gated, which is nice and outside of tenants letting their friends in (which is addressed by management), it's never hard to find a spot. Carports are also offered at an additional cost, and were installed just a bit earlier this spring.
In terms of noise, I can still hear other tenants walking down the hall and occasionally the neighbors in the apartment above mine, but I also experienced this far more heavily at my previous apartment, so I've been pleased overall.
Grounds are difficult to rate, as they've been in the middle of renovation, however after inquiring about the plans for them as they continue work, I expect them to look very nice upon completion.
The entire complex requires a key just to enter, and cameras are in every hall. The only problem I could foresee would be from a resident letting someone who doesn't live here in, but even then the cameras have every hall covered.
Maintenance might not be very large, but they are quick to response, and they do a good job of getting things done. Outside of standard work, they also are friendly from my experience, and willing to go above and beyond. With my vehicle broken down, just yesterday one drove me down to a nearby AutoZone, so that I'd be able to pick up the part I needed.
The management here is extremely friendly, and always seems to be looking for new ways to improve the complex. Since they started up, carports have been built, a bus stop shelter added, and a lot of work has gone into renovation for the grounds. I've been able to sit and chat with them while dropping off a rent check, and they're always quick to greet me as I pass by.
Overall, I'm far happier with the apartment here than my previous one, and quite a few factors contribute to that. To top it off, it's only about a mile and a half from most of my downtown destinations, so I can easily walk or drive anywhere I need to get to rather than being forced to waste money on gas and parking, or rely on the local bus system that I've found myself having issues with in the past.
I would definitely recommend this location. It's close to college campuses, it's well taken care of, and the employees here are both nice and helpful.
