I have been living in a one bedroom apartment at The Crossings for 5 years and it has been a wonderful experience. The bedroom size is a tad small but the kitchen and bathroom are spacious. Rent is only about $510 per month with free water and gas. I did quite a bit of research in year 2000 before moving in and at that point of time, it was by far, the best value for my money. The area is in major development. Pretty soon, Meijer, target, Celebration cinema, Apple Bees etc will all be within walking distance of the apartment complex. Parking seems to be an issue lately in front of my complex since most of the apts are occupied. Walls are pretty thin. Wooden seperation between floors. Might want to consider top floors if you cannot withstand neighbors running or stomping on floors.
The ducks... if you take a habit of feeding them, they will be pestering you for food on a daily basis and will messed up your patio (droppings). My advise from personal experience, stay away.

Needs better sound proofing
