I sub-leased in the Crossing for a few months and really enjoyed the experience. The walls are thin but my neighbors were quiet and respectful so it wasn't a problem. We lived on the first floor, and I never had any safety concerns. The management was super friendly. We did have some maintenance problems but maintenance was always quick about it and it was no big deal.

The in-apartment washer and dryer were GREAT, as was the free heat, which is pretty much invaluable during MI winters.

Now that the area is building up around it, it is also super convenient. I'd recommend it!
