At first I really loved this apartment. It's close to the highway and grocery store, it has a washer and dryer, a pool, and it's a good size at a good price. BUT, your car will probably get broken into or keyed. Possibly your apartment too. I've reported break in's and asked about security and all they say is "This happens everywhere and we can't control society". They have one security car at night, but the size of the complex needs at least three. Don't move here. Maybe they will start doing something when they notice all the empty apartments.

I lived here for a year and got the hell out of there, it is a horrible apartment complex. There is too many apartments for them to keep up with just after I moved out we drove through and we could see more then a dozen open apartments if that tells you anything. We has numerous problems, the place we live now is amazing compared to them it's worth paying an extra $100 a month!

I couldn't disagree more. I've lived here for over a year and a half and have never felt unsafe. Neither my car, nor my apartment has ever been broken into, and the management has responded promptly whenever I have called. The property is well lit, and extremely well maintained.

You are very lucky that you have never had a problem :). On July 2nd 2009, 11 cars were broken into. The windows smashed, batteries disconnected, and stereos ripped from the dash. My husbands included. The neighbor above me had the same thing done just three days ago. The neighbor to my right had her car keyed two days ago. The neighbor under me had her car broken into a couple of months ago. My cousins car was broken into last year. And a co-worker of mine had her apartment broken into last year as well (actually it was on the news, a lot of apartments at the crossings were broken into). I'm not trying to complain, I'm just trying to warn people, especially people with kids. If you don't believe me ask the Kent County Police Department, they have all that stuff on record.

I agree with the person who DISAGREES! I have lived here for 2 yrs and have never had any problems! Its been by far the nicest, safest, friendliest place I have ever rented! I have no bugs , no bad neighbors, no maintenance problems, and have never had anything done to my car!
