We moved in here in February, and immediately noticed that it appeared the carpets had not been properly cleaned. Things have only gone downhill from there. Maintenance is at best slow, at worst completely incompetent. Management has yet to follow through on ANY promises, and if you are female, don't even bother to ask for anything but complete attitude from the manager. She has no respect for other women, and spends all her time hitting on the men. My husband has gone down there for various things and is always treated wonderfully. The few times I have had to go down there, the manager herself has been extremely rude and condescending.

Since moving in here, we have had to fix a drain that was clogged when we moved in, we asked for a screen for our front door and were ignored for two months before getting a screen ourselves. We had problems with our front steps, our dishwasher is no longer attached to the framing around it, and we had to ask four times to get handles on our cupboards replaced because the ones on there had fallen apart to the point where I cut my finger on the remains of one of them.

I hear stories from other tenants about shoddy maintenance, even to the point where a short (complained about frequently by the tenant) ended up causing a fire in the unit! Police and fire departments are here constantly, there was a shooting over the summer, multiple dumpster fires, fights, speeding cars, etc. This is not a safe place for anybody to live, especially families with small children.

The pool house and changing rooms are disgusting, mildewy, musty places, and unfortunately you have to cross through them to even get to the pool. Once you get to the pool, the lounge furniture is all falling apart, rules of conduct are blatanly ignored and not enforced anyway. I stopped bringing my daughter down there after she was exposed to teenagers cursing at each other, roughhousing in the pool way too near her, and using the "n" word so frequently that it seemed to be the only word they knew.

We will be moving out the instant our lease is up, and we will be discouraging anybody we see from ever renting here. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
