Gorgeous, Affordable, Convenient

I have lived in a dozen different apartments over the years. Overall, Lamberton Lake Apartments is the best I have ever lived in, and I fear I will never find another to top it. All apartments face the beautiful lake, by the living room slider door, AND two windows in the kitchen. I can almost guarantee you will never have such a beautiful view while you're washing your dishes or eating your meal. Oh yes, there's room for furniture in the kitchen as well- so many other apartment kitchens are just standing room only, and no windows at all. Cherish this if you move in! The living room is huge- any type of furniture suite will fit, along with your big screen TV too. The dining room area tends to be a little dim for natural lighting, but there's a chandelier in there to help. The bedrooms are spacious, with big closets. The bathroom is a bit on the small side by comparison to the footage of the other rooms, but you will get over this as soon as you look out your window to the lake. Go swimming! (or ice skate, if it's winter.) It's so great to come home from work and go right out to the lake for a dip. My husband and I even could occasionally enjoy a midnight swim undisturbed. Oh yes, they have picnic tables and barbecue pits for an outdoor meal! Sure, you have to share the grounds with your neighbors, but most everyone is courteous. Sometimes, I won't deny, there are BAD neighbors (the noisy, the dirty, the hollering kids... etc) but the good will far outweigh the bad- and that view will fix any troubled soul. Take a walk on the fen! There's a great little nature trail right there on the grounds! Parking: except for the occasional blizzard, rarely have any trouble parking. Besides, every apartment has an assigned sheltered parking spot. You're within walking distance from shopping and restaurants, and part of your walk is through a gorgeous shady lane. Laundry and storage: Each building has a laundry room, and a small storage closet for each apartment. That storage closet comes in handy for those awkward items, like the artificial holiday tree, and your inflatable beach toys. If anything breaks down, call maintenace, and they will fix it right away. The office staff a very friendly- especially since they are your neighbors too. Really, I could go on. I will sum up by stating that if I ever had to move back to Grand Rapids, this would be the only place I would go back to.
