This place is a joke. The general policy is do as I say, not as I do. A person here complains if a dog is seen or even remotely near their apartment. Unfortunately this is a DOG FRIENDLY community, but the dogs and owners are required to play in the nastiest part of the property. It is entirely FILLED with goose droppings and muddy and just gross. If caught not within the imaginary boundaries a tenant can be fined and the dog removed. Yet interestingly enough, by far the worst culprits in terms of following policy are the staff members in the office who live here as well. The appeal of living here is the wide space and use of the lake, but the vast majority of individuals using the space are dog owners. The beach is off limits to dogs (except of course staff members dogs), a beach which is filled with goose poop. The beach went in recently, and yet there is no attempt to rid the community of the noisy, filthy geese despite staff repeatedly saying that the problem would be vastly improved with the purchase of chemicals. I pay as much as anyone else, more than some in that I pay pet rent. For the 25 dollars extra a month, I should at the very least have access to all of the courtyard and beach where my dog can run. Instead, one person complains and everyone else is required to keep their dog on leash or else! The rules are stretched and flexible for certain individuals, but not for everyone.

There have been break ins here, more than once we've had a suspicious late night "visitors." Anyway, I will not be renewing. I've put up with it this long, the staff is nice and all, it's just so frustrating. I know I'm not alone, so many dog owners have complained about the double standard and many intend to not renew. When someone mentioned this to the staff, the attitude was "oh well, tenants are easy to come by our wait list is long" so the consensus is don't feel like your business is worth anything here. I like to live in a community where I feel like if I am a good resident who keeps things quiet, cleans up after my dog, makes rent every month and is respectful that my continued living here is valued. I would definitely not recommend this place.

I agree. I am a former resident and found the staff's hypocrisy ridiculous. Part of the reason I left was the stupid dog policy. I don't miss Lamberton Lake at all!!

Staff isn't only hypocritical in their dog policy, but everything. Kelly let her brother live in an apartment for free when she wasn't even working there anymore. And he complained about my dog when everyone else's dogs are way worse.
