Once they get you in here, they don't care about you as a tenant

My boyfriend and I lived here for almost a year. They made really great deals to get you in here and even promised a 100 community transfer fee. After I moved in, the office staff besided Mary the Manager changed every few months. The new office chics, did not know anything about apartments. Upon moving in, everything looked nice. A few weeks later the carpet stains started coming. They never stopped coming. We called about this and they hired a carpet cleaner. The same thing happened. They started coming a few weeks later. We found out that the foundation muct be cracked or the stains would not come out of no where like they did. One of the four neighbors was okay. The above apartment was a domestic violence and child neglect case that I heard all the time. The second neighbor was one with a child and was so loud all the time. I tried to talk with management about this and they wanted a complaint in writing. We once had a leak in our ceiling and the office chic promised someone would come the same day. Over a week later, they came. About 10 months into the lease, they send you a letter about renewing. If you renew that month, you "only" have a 20 dollar increase per month. If you want to move apartments, you have to wait until the last minute and pay what the market rent is and you end up paying at least a 100 more than the last apartment. After looking around, I found that not too many communitites were any better with the same price, but I found for a little more money, you get a castle compared to the latter. The new apartment is more than 200 more a month, but with all the bills at NVH it is the same. Wyndam Hill pays your cable, water, trash, sewage, and has a washer and dryer. That is why they are basically equal in price. You would never know that unless you figured all the little things out, but Northview Harbor isn't that nice, cheap, or pet friendly. We move out in a few months, and we will see how the charges go. We will not pay for new carpet that we talked about for months and months.
