I have lived here for almost three years, mostly because our future moving/job situation has been in question for awhile(looking to move out of state). However we are ready to leave, mostly because with every new lease our rent goes up and the 6-month lease surcharge is now going to push us out.
Cost: Bottom line: we could get better for what we're paying. The only free utility they pay is the carport - tenants pay EVERYTHING else. They don't seem to value good tenants by keeping down the rent increases.
Condition: The linoleum and carpet wasn't in good shape when we moved in and the windows are pretty leaky so I put plastic on some of them in the winter. Ice forms inside the patio door in the winter. I thought the walls were incredibly thin for the first 18 months of being here, but it was because we had really really loud neighbors. I should have complained. You can hear everything that goes on in the entryway, though. Appliances are old and basic.
Maintenance: very good, quick to respond to any requests. The landscaping looks real nice by June or so but they don't keep the entryways or front door/facades clean -- they look old and dirty. Wish they would do more about that. The sprinkler system is broken every year and by the time they get it working, the grass has mostly died. It's so pet-friendly that you will see the evidence when walking around, but that depends of course on your neighbors.
Location: Great, that is one thing I love about it. Can walk to the library, sav-a-lot, Curves etc. Great neighborhoods around if you like to walk/run.
