I have lived at the Oakwood for four years now. I love everything about it. The views are spectacular, especially on the North and West side. The building is usually always as clean as can be. I know for a while they had some cute college guy keeping it clean. The rent is perfect for downtown, and everything is five minutes away, (I-196, I96, US 131, The Van Andle Arena, The Grand Rapids Art Museum, The Devos Hall etc.)Most of the neighbors are super polite, everyone holds the door open for you and smiles and says hello when you walk by. The laundry facilities in the basement are very nice. $2.00 to wash and dry a load of laundry and they have 8 washers and 8 dryers, along with some snack machines. I have found the parking lot near full but rarely ever "full". The management there has always helped me with any issues and they always sign for my packages when Im gone which is really nice since I wont miss any. The maintence guy there is also very friendly and has handled the two minor issues Ive had in three years with 12 hours. I love it here. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
