Old Orchard is an alright place to live, considering the rent is pretty cheap. The only real concerns we had were: 1) The parking lots were not well paved-tons of potholes, really rough on our vehicles 2) Maintenance was terrible, they just walked on in to any apartment, didn't bother to knock, were very impolite, and if you were not home (which they never call either) they simply go to the office and get the key and invite themselves in. 3) The leasing consultants that helped us with the paperwork and showed us the apartment initially were nice, but did terrible work-if you have any questions reguarding rent- DONT ask them, ask their accountant 4) We had black beetles with red spots on them constantly everywhere outside, the pest control men were called, but bugs kept coming back-maintence gave us a can of raid and said: Bugs are just looking for a warm place to live too. We only found a few in the apartment, but there were thousands outside for weeks 5) If you happen to get the crazy lady next door (978 1D) always tell her no, or she will keep coming back
