My husband and I are finishing up our 2nd year living in Oxford Place. We were referred to them by a friend of ours and current tenant. She is in agreement with us. When we first moved in, the complex was under the management of Marquettte Management. They were wonderful! Unfortunately, last January or so, IPA Management took over. It has been hell ever since!! They "found reasons" to get rid of all their current office staff and replaced them with incompetant, rude employees. Maintenance requests are ignored or a "bandaid" is used to "fix" them. It is extremely evident that they are much more concerned about bringing in new tenants than they are about taking care of existing residents. Ex. They have no money to paint or other wise repair the individual apartments (it took my husband's foot going through our balcony before they FINALLY replaced the balcony flooring) however they have found the money to put in oh so needed "Have a Good Day" signs at all the parking lot exits. They have cut out spraying for bugs on a weekly basis (let me tell you, spiders galore!) and have switch to a lower bidder on the grounds keeping. (Okay, they were low bidder for a reason!!) Parking at our building is a disaster, unless you want to pay the extra $50/month for a car port. Seriously, definitely do not rent here!

Yep, completely right on all of this! Oxford Place was so nice when me and my roomies first moved there. Then they went through that change of management, and wow what a difference that makes! Our security lights outside were always broken after the new people took over, they couldn't seem to figure out where my roomie's car port was (although he'd had it for a year!) and were constantly calling us about it. It seemed like the maintenance staff was always finding some reason to come in although I don't really think they did anything...what a pain! Among other stuff. We lived there for three years, but that bad management change on the last year made us want to move.
