Decent Enough place

I've lived at Pine Ridge for over 3 years now, and the only reason I am considering moving is to be closer to my job and cut out a 30 minute commute.

Neighbors: Like any apartment complex, you get your morons who play thumpin' bass, or have a loud as hell truck that they just LOVE to show off at high speeds around the complex (I'm looking at YOU, parking spot A10!) Or screaming foreign families that can't seem to modulate their voices even when in the hallway at 10pm at night.

Maintenance: Maint Staff has almost always been responsive and good at the work they do. A couple years ago during a massive heat wave, one of the maintenance guys swapped out our busted A/C with his own apartment's unit so we wouldn't die from the 98 degree weather.

Office Staff: There's been some turnover here, but as with most complexes, they seem to always hire the perky, really hot young ladies who are probably given jobs for both their friendly attitudes and their physical attributes. Sometimes slow to respond to calls, but decent when you actually get to speak with them.

Grounds: Spiffy, generally quite well kept. They just resurfaced the entire complex (Sept 2007) so everything is blacktoppy. The main drive, however, REALLY needs to be redone so we don't damage the front ends of lower cars when we pull in - even when we pull in reaaaaly slowly.

Apartments themselves: Generally clean, decently built. A/C is marvelous, keeps the whole place cool. Laundry rooms just redone, new machines and floorings. Each apartment has a carport close by and a small storage space in the building. (Some much smaller than others. Ask to see it.)

Overall, a good place to live. I had my car broken into once during the 3 years I've lived here, and had to call the cops twice on a noisy/abusive upstairs neighbor (who has since been kicked out). I'd recommend it. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
