Years at this apartment: 2000-01-01 - 2009-01-01

Lived there for 9 years, last year i had actually asked for things to be done in my apartment, like new carpet, fresh paint, general stuff and it never got done. I kept calling the office and kept getting the run around. Then when I finally move out, they do all of the things i asked for. Says to me that they dont really give a crap to keep people that have been good tenants for 9 years and dont care if they keep them. Not suprised

It is funny that you posted your comment. I have also lived at Pine Ridge for 10 years and I am getting the same treatment. My oven and fridge don't work, my carpet is falling apart, there are so many things that need updating and the office REFUSES every request. Their response is that they don't have the money to work with current residents and that the budget is going towards redoing apartments for new tenents. We are moving out in December when our lease is up!

The previous two comments were posted two years ago but they are absolutely true and could be written TODAY! I have lived at PineRidge for a couple years and I would move if I could. I have a HUD subsidy and cannot afford rent without it. (About 1/3 of PineRidge apartments are HUD subsidized) Requesting things or complaining does no good...even when you 'put it in writing' (that's their main response to get you to go away!). Carpet is a perfect example; I requested mine be cleaned and was told they provide cleaning only once every 5 years, this is cheap carpet the needs to replaced after five years! Rules are not enforced, from what I've seen you can do anything as long as you pay the rent. Leases specify no drug use and you must clean up after your dog...well, hallways smell like pot and you better not walk in the grass!! Management seems to only be concerned about getting new tenants not about retaining tenants they have. An empty apartment gets everything brand new and I cant get a broken door fixed. If you are looking for a place to stay for a few months, aren't bothered by noise, disrespectful neighbors and things not working right you'll be fine here. If you are looking for a HOME, PineRidge is not the place to be.
