I have never had so many problems trying to move into an apartment ever in my life.
First of all we filled out an application in March, then were told that we would be approved to rent. We were hoping to move in April, but by the second week of April we had heard nothing back from the manager. So we called her and she said that we needed to fill out the application AGAIN- wait, I thought we were going to be approved almost a month ago? Then the apartment she told us we could rent was not even available- there was still someone living in it with an unknown move out date. So then she told us we could have a one bedroom that would be available at the end of April. Well on May 1 we had not even been contacted about moving in. So we had to call her AGAIN and she told us in three days we could move in. The apartment just had to be cleaned and painted. Three days later we call her AGAIN and the apartment still had not been cleaned. She told us we could start moving in and then she would have someone come back to clean the next morning at 8 AM. So we move some things in and then leave at 8 AM until noon the next day so they can clean and we're not in the way. We come back at noon and no one has even been in there! She knocks on the door two hours later and by then I had already started cleaning the apartment myself. Then we tell her we still want the carpet cleaned and two weeks later it still was not done and I had to go get my mother's carpet shampooer. Also took two weeks to get the garbage disposal fixed. Also has a towing sign out side of the two floor car garage but the towing company can not tow on the second floor so if you have a second floor parking spot that is taken you're screwed. We have barely lived here a month. Will be moving out AS SOON AS the lease is over. Horrendous. Awful. Pathetic.
Also- wont go into detail but I have seen people gain access to areas that I do not feel safe with them having access to.
