Don't be fooled...

when you go to the leasing office the grounds nearby are well kept. But the grounds as a whole are never taken care of. Ask them when is the last time they water the grass. The grass is dead and brown everywhere you go. There are tons of kids playing in the carports and by your cars. Word of caution, before you sign a lease ask to see the actually apartment you will be assigned, most of the building have horrible hallways, dirty carpet and peeling paint and entry way doors. Why would they let this complex become so run down. They just do not care, the bottom line is they want to fill the apartments but they do not take care of their residents. If you are an working individual, and not someone with tons of kids this is not the place for you. Before signing ask about:
1. If their employees have had background checks (lots of theft issues)
2. How often do they clean the halls of all the buildings, not just the ones near the leasing office.
3. How often are the grounds maintained, watered and such' Why is the grass all dead and brown'
4. Why do the hallways smell so bad'
5. Why are the entry doors always broke, and so dirty and run down'
6. Do they forsee doing any upgrades to the grounds and building anytime soon, such as painting, cleaning hallway carpets and such.
I hope someone from their office responds to this email, I am trying to locate corportate to make these issues known. I believe you get what you put out, and they are putting out no effort and soon any decent person will not be will to continue to live in this complex.
Are there any pluses to this place' Yes, apartments are big and it is located in a great area.
