We lived there for almost a year and it was fine. We found a house a month before our lease was up and offered to pay the last months rent and hand over the keys a month early. Essentially we were offering to pay for the rest of our lease, but let them have the benefit of renting it out to someone else. They said this was fine. Once we moved they tried to retroactively charge us for the month free we had been offered at move in. Despite paying our entire lease they were still trying to swindle more money out of us.

I recommend finding a more moral landlord. Unless you're just desperate, these apartments are nothing special.
