I've been a resident of Eastland Village Apartments for 6 years. I've noticed a change in the apartment community and the people who are moving into Eastland Village Apartments. When I first moved into Eastland Village the people in the office were okay but the bookeeper at that time had a nasty disposition. Over the course of my years here I've had more good things to say than bad. Yes my rent did go up yearly, but after 6 years I'm still not paying the market rate. My neighbor is paying the market rate. She never pays her rent on time and I do. When I moved in I was told that I was moving in under a special and my rent would change next year based on my payment history. The Leasing Agent, Imanuel, is very good and makes sure if he says it it'll be done. My maintenance tech has changed several times but when I encounter the maintenance tech he is always courteous and pretty prompt. A few times I had to wait but I know I'm not the only person living here who has to have service. The problem is that people think they don't have to report things they don't like. If I don't tell the office what is going on they may never know. They don't live here I do and want to keep my area nice. I had a neighbor that was disruptive and became a problem but because I called the office they were disciplined accordingly. If you are a nice person, looking for a nice place to live, and you will respect me or any of your neighbors this is the place for you. Other than that I don't want you to be my neighbor.
