We have recently moved from Brittany Park. We had lived there from July 2001 to July 2007. The first few years were not as bad as the last few. The management staff changed constantly. We had asked about repainting and carpet cleaning every year we signed a new lease,were told it would be looked into or they'd talk to corporate, and then never heard another word about it.The resident element seemed to get really bad in the last 2 years, very ghetto and trashy! They told us before we signed a lease in 2001 that they were getting rid of their section 8 tenants. In May of this year I overheard they had about 35 section 8 tenants. Guess some of that is where the bad apples may have come from. At the pool with my kids, I felt like I was in the middle of Highland Park or somewhere.I'm not prejudice, my husband and kids are black, but ghetto is ghetto! I am very glad to be out of there.Their rent keeps going up, and don't even get trapped into a month to month lease. They say they're comparable with the recent market- I highly doubt it! My advice is to keep looking if you're thinking of moving here, there's definitely better opportunities out there!
