I had a lot of hope moving into the apartment complex because the area is nice.

Unfortunately, the experience has not come close to what the area actually has to offer.

The worst problem is the staff at this site. There have been 3 or maybe 4 different managers within the year and there has been poor communication and carryover between them. The most recent manager of the facility (a Ms. Woods) is a bipolar control freak who can go from polite and caring to complete nightmare depending on her mood. It makes you not want to call or go to the office with your concerns.

There is a lot of water issues at the facility. There is often standing water in the grass and along the sidewalks after even light to moderate rains and I have heard of some major flooding and water issues not being disclosed to my neighbors.

People smoke freely throughout the building and the laundry rooms and hallways are often smoke-filled- if you are a non-smoker and don't want a bar-smell in your hallways from the smoke- do not move in here.

Children are permitted to roam freely and unsupervised, especially around the playground area and basketball court. It is not uncommon to find water and pop bottles, candy wrappers everywhere around there.

Safety is also an issue- lights are not repaired in a timely fashion and it can be scary walking outside at night. Also, if packages are not delivered timely, the outside doors to the buildings are not locked, so people can get access to your building without being buzzed in or even using a key.

Laundry rooms are not cleaned on a regular basis.

Are you staying in the same Village Green as I am? I think this place is wonderful! The office staff is very nice and since the new manager started their have been tremendous changes around here!

i couldnt agree more, this place is horrible to live at. and the grounds and aparments are discusting.
