When I moved into Village Green on Lake St. Clair I had high expectations due to the model that I was shown. The model was beautiful. I was told I had to sign my lease before viewing the actual apartment I was getting due to it being cleaned up and new carpeting being put in. This being my first apartment I had no worries about signing before I was shown my actual apartment. Boy was I wrong.
My apartment was on the third floor. There was poorly patch jobs done in each room due to leakage. The hallways are just absolutly terrible. They are filthy and they stink. I have addressed this with management on more than one occasion. Nothing has been done about it.
With-in the first week my boyfriends car was broken into. The complex is majority ------- american, so if you plan on moving in here I hope you enjoy listening to Rap Music all hours of the night, cause you can hear everything in the surrounding apartments.
Dogs are allowed and there is dog fecis all over the grass. It is nasty.
Bottom line is this complex is way to expensive for the living conditions. I would not recommend living here at all.

thats all bull ---- this place is the nicest place and quite most of the time, yes kids can be kids deal with it or buy a house

I live here too, it is a nice place to live. It's not the Ritz Carlton and we don't ay Ritz prices. The amenities and acess to the beautiful pool and chubhouse and all the other programs they offer are a big PLUS. They are helping me purchase my first home, where else can you get all that??????????
