Had an extremely noisy neighbor (claimed to be a doctor) living above me. Complained about the noise between 2-6 a.m. - no action by the management staff to resolve the problem.
Currently have a female Coastie (USCG) living in the apartment above me (she walks like a cow), sent her a short note to tone down the noise, she comlained about my note and I received a "Lease Violation" notice.
Handicapped tenant and one of his handlers approached me after I had words with another tenant - they both began cursing at me then phoned the police a accused ME of harassment!
I contacted the Corporate offices about the NOISE clause in the lease: "We have no control as to HOW tenants walk across their apartment floor."
"We have no control over the time of day when peple choose to do their laundry." (4 a.m.')
"I contacted the Corporate offices about the PARKING clause in the lease as our building has ONLY 11 spaces assigned to this building, AND there is a sign denoting those spaces: "We have OPEN parking. We will not tow a tenant's vehicle even if it is parked in assigned parking."

Save yourself a headache. Village Green blows lots of smoke up your backside and promises the world to you when you are considering a lease, but once they get your name on the bottom line, both the rules AND the game changes drastically.

I have lived here at Village Green and have had no problems what so ever. The Management handles everything very professionally. I recommend anyone to talk to Management and the Leasing Staff. I am sorry that I am relocating next month and I will hope to have such a wonderful community in which to live.

In the begining, this complex wasn't all that bad...but after about a month or so, I started to think otherwise... First off, any noise that a person makes in the surrounding apartments (above, below, next to ect.) you can hear clearly...(the girl that used to live above me would sing at the TOP of her lungs, and I could hear her at all hours of he night, called management, and they said there was nothing they could do about it...) Second, the maintenence is a nightmare!! My husband and I were sleeping at 8am, on a Sunday morning, when all of a sudden, I heard the door open, and a man was standing in our apartment!!!!!! No phone call to see if they could enter the premisis, nothing...just us (my husband and I) being woken up to seeing a complete stranger in our apartment...) After this had happened, I called up to the office and voiced my complaints (I sleep in skimpy clothes, and a random stranger saw me in them...I am still to this day scared to not go to bed fully clothed) and the man in the office (I wont name any names) basically told me that I was ---- outta luck. Third, the parking lot is a messssss after is snows...I dont even think they have put any salt down since the begining of this winter...I know of 3 people that have already fallen due to these conditions...(I fell when I had my dog outside to go potty, fell on my knee (2 people witnessed this fall), my husband fell when he was carrying our clothes from the building across the parkig lot, to ours, hitting his shoulder on the curb, and one of our neighbors fell out of his car and split his head open...) Fouth, parking. Oh man, what a nightmare!! We had to get assigned parking, just so we wouldnt have to walk 1/4 of a mile to get into our apartment building! Fifth, the gym...they say that its newly remodled...blah blah blah...I have been over there countless times, and its always the same thing...none of the machines ever work... Sixth, my husband and I started to get colds, and didnt realy think much of it, until our air conditiner went out, and it FLOODED a corner of out unit!!! And wanna know what the maintenance people told us to do??? Spray some bleach on it...itll be okay...ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? Mold can make some people very sick, and they told me to spray bleach on it...ugh. I could go on and on forever, but I think that this has already wasted enough of my time... I cant wait to get outta there!!!!!!!!
