Overall the Glens is a nice apartment complex. We really haven't had any problems and when we first moved in maintenance was quick to fix the few things that needed some work in the apartment. There is a real issue with parking, especially where we are in the back of the complex. It seems as though everyone apartment in our building had at least two cars, some have more, and there is no where near enough parking spots. They charge extra to rent a carport but we are already paying an extra $20 a month for our dog. I can ususally find a parking spot in our parking lot but my fiance gets home late a lot and often has to park at one of the other buildings. There are also several people who park along the curbs when there are no spots open and this makes it difficut to pull out of a parking spot when you are leaving.

The overall layout of the apartment is nice. We have two bedrooms and two full bathrooms which is really great. There is also a full sized washer and dryer in the apartment which is awesome. They also paint some of the walls a light brown color which makes the apartment feel more welcoming than stark white every where. One of the negatives is noise. It sounds like the neighbors upstairs are stomping around when they are home. This gets to be annoying at times. Another negative is the cost to buy out of your lease. They want two months worth of rent! Any other apartments I have lived in only require one months rent to buy out of a lease. We are trying to buy a house but might have to wait until we get close to the end of our lease to avoid having to pay almost $1600!
